Driverless-car startup Zoox Raised $200M

ZOOX a Menlo Park, California based driverless car company raised $200M Venture at $1 billion valuation on July 1, 2016 according to  SEC . According to IEEE, the car is designed not to have any windshields or a steering wheel or brake pedal. This  can drive in any direction while passengers sit inside, facing each other via zoox engineers. Zoox was founded by Tim Kentley-Klay, an Australian designer, and Jesse Levinson, a Stanford engineer. They started this project secretly back in 2013. There are 3 venture capital invested in this company namely Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) and Lux Capital and Shahin Farshchi.
